Former Visa and EA executive Claudia Carbonelli joins HCF - HCF Corporate
Hybris Corporate Finance announces the appointment of Claudia Carbonelli to the HCF team, bringing over twenty years of international experience across the digital payments, SaaS, fintech, and technology sectors.
Throughout her career, Claudia has held financial leadership roles at global companies such as Visa Inc. and Electronic Arts, operating between Silicon Valley, San Francisco, and Munich. At Visa, she led strategic initiatives related to new product launches, the development of new revenue streams, and international business growth, while also serving as CFO of Payworks, a digital payments fintech later acquired by Visa.
Previously, at Electronic Arts, she worked closely with the Group CFO on strategic planning, M&A transactions, and investor relations activities, building strong expertise in financial analysis and growth management within highly complex operating environments.
The appointment of Claudia Carbonelli represents a further step in strengthening Hybris Corporate Finance’s strategic advisory and fractional CFO practice, with a particular focus on the adoption of AI tools within the finance function, support for scale-ups, and internationalization and managerial transformation processes.
Claudia holds a degree in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Bari and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Virgilio Picca, Equity Partner at Hybris Corporate Finance, commented:
Claudia’s appointment confirms how Hybris Corporate Finance is increasingly becoming a point of attraction for established professionals choosing to bring international expertise back to their local territory. We aim to further strengthen HCF’s role as a leading hub in the Apulia region for CFO Services, strategic consulting, and extraordinary transactions advisory.
